My Mind to Your Mind, Your Thoughts to my Thoughts

Being Sick Sucks

I got some random viral infection, either the Flu or Viral Bronchitis, either of which last 2 to 3 weeks, and in some cases months :(.

Anyways it causes heartburn, but I can't take my bismuth infested friend Pepto Bismol, it has a Reyes Syndrome warning with all viruses.

I want to post some more videos of this new PC from Max/Microsoft, a few benches and stuff on power consumption. The power consumption I'd have to say is top notch with a 45nm processor and a 55nm videocard.

SNOW

First it was.

Live Doppler 10 chief meteorologist Chris Bradley said that the watch may soon be upgraded to a warning soon.
Bradley is checking two computer models. One predicts between 3 to 6 inches in the Columbus area. The other model predicts us getting about 12 inches of snow.

Then it was.

The largest snowfall potential we've seen in years is moving into central Ohio.
Live Doppler 10 meteorologist Mike Davis said that the National Weather Service is calling between 12 to 15 inches of total snow accumulation for Friday and Saturday.

I'm going to be stuck, I'm going to skip class. What a day I woke up to.

Brandon's 1 inch guarantee is 10 inches. My last prediction of our last  storm was 1-2, and we got 1.5, I'm feeling meteorology might be my calling in life ;)

Free software...for students

There is some great applications/tools that Microsoft is giving away to students...I really suggest some of you guys just play around with this stuff.

Channel8 has been on a roll lately.

Also over at Channel9, there was a post about Microsoft opening up some of their protocols, this is nuts!

I can't believe it....

Well guys today something amazing happened, I took a really crappy chemistry exam and I won a super sweet PC!!!

This thing is completely nuts.

· The Case: Antec 182B
· The CPU: Intel QX9650
· The Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X38T-DQ6 (rev 1.1 if I can) ***this was out of stock so I went with the Asus P5E
· The RAM: Corsair 2 Gigs ***Since the Motherboard was a DDR2 based system, I decided to go with Kingston 4GB instead of just 2
· The Hard Disks: Western Digital Raptor and Backup Drive
· The Graphics Card: ATi 3870 series
· The Optical Drives: A draw… I decided to go with a DVD burner, no HD or BluRay
· The Input Devices: Logitech MX Revolution and Microsoft Reclusa
· Monitor: HP w2207

I suggest you guys enter the next series of contests...at C8. C8 is a Microsoft website targeted towards students.

Anyways, I can't wait to get this baby...wanna try some video editing, soundbooth, some photoshop, Autodesk Inventor, some math programs, Excel calculations (that are complicated).

What else can one do with this sheer power?
